[SIDE] Narnia
Side Name: Narnia--Royal
Ruler Name: High King Peter the Magnificent
Favored Terrain: Mountain
Description: The survivors of the Last Battle who have been loyal to Aslan or the morality upheld by Narnians are lead by Aslan to Erfworld. Aslan leads them to his country, telling them to go further up and further in, to a country which is revealed to be the "real" Narnia (the one the Narnians had previously inhabited was only a copy). They move up a waterfall to some gates, and enter New Caer Paravel. For them, it was only the beginning of the true story, which goes on forever, and in which every chapter is better than the one before.
Livery: A golden lion on a field of green.

Infantry
- Spoiler:
- Stabbers: Soldier: 5-4-4-3, Mountain Capable. 30 upkeep.
Soldiers are the basic infantry of Narnia and are usually wolves, dogs, ferrets, hares, foxes, panthers, cougars and other fast, hardy creatures.
Piker: Guard: 7-2-7-0(2), Mountain Capable, 20(30) upkeep--costs 50$ to promote from Garrison.
Guards are the basic defensive unit of Narnia and are usually badgers, mice, beavers, raccoons, turtles, porcupines and other tough, slower moving creatures.
Archer: Faun: 5-9-0-0(2), Mountain Capable, Ranged, 30(40) upkeep--costs 50$ to promote from Garrison.
Narnians in Erfworld refer to archery units as fauns, because most of Narnia's archers are fauns, but some dryads, marshwiggles and other creatures can be found among the archery units.
Scout: Scout: 3-1-1-9, Scout Range=6, Mountain Capable, Flight, 30 upkeep.
Narnia has a variety of scout units, such as Cherry Blossoms, Eagles, Hawks and other flying creatures.
Knight: Knight: 10-4-4-5, Rider, Mountain Capable, Ranged, Dance Fighting, Leadership, Siege, 90 upkeep.
Knighthood is conferred on Narnia's greatest warriors by the High King. Although the Knights of Narnia can be promoted from any of the creatures of Narnia, they all must be great leaders and have mastered the skills of dance fighting and riding. All Narnian knights have names, such as Sir Reepicheep or Sir Badger.
- Spoiler:
- A: Dwarf: 6/3/3/3, Mountain Capable, Surveyor, Builder, Ranged, 40 upkeep.
Dwarves provide Narnia with building and surveying capabilites and defend themselves with crossbows.
B: Centaur: 6/3/3/5, Mountain Capable, Mount, Ranged, 40 upkeep.
The centaurs provide fast transportation to Narnia's slower units and also help defend the cities with their longbows.
C: Minotaur: 9/6/6/3, Mountain Capable, Ranged, Siege, 80 upkeep.
Minotaurs provide Narnia's only capability to lay siege to cities. Because they generally prefer living in underground labyrinths, Narnia's minotaurs are rarely seen except when Caer Paravel gears up for war.
D: Dwagon: 15/(9+8 vs Flying), (18+8 vs Ground)/6/20, Heavy, Mountain Capable, Fast, Fire Breath, Flight, Ranged, Mount, Battlecrap, Toxin.
The heavy hitters of Narnia units, Dragons provide a variety of capabilities to the high king.
- Spoiler:
- Sloop: Turtle: 6/2/6/5, Cargo 8, Water Capable 60 upkeep.
Giant turtles provide ocean going capabilities for the Narnians without the complication of having to build huge shipyards.
Galley: Dawn Tweader: 8/7/7/5, Cargo 16, Water Capable, Ranged, Upkeep 90.
The Dawn Tweaders are beautiful ships, almost a work of art. Despite this, they are only a shadow of the great Narnian ships, such as the Swan Ships, that sailed in the Golden Age of Caer Paravel.
Galleon: Swan Ship: 10/14/14/5, Cargo 30, Water Capable, Ranged, Upkeep 130.
With the swan's head at her prow and the carved swan's wings coming back almost to her waist, the Swan Ships were the pride of Caer Paravel during the Golden Age of Narnia.

Also, you didn't add in the +8 Move from Fast for your Dragons.
(Dragons? Dwarfs? Soldiers? Centaurs? Minotaurs? What happened to Dwagons, Dwawves, Soldiews, Centauws, and Minotauws?)

Suggest changing Dwarves to Dorfs <__< Dwawves is rather difficult to pronounce.

Re: [SIDE] Narnia
Fixed the Dwagon, name and move. Also changed one of my ships to Dawn Tweader.
I was looking back through the first few strips of the comic, and there are many r's in use, for example Firebaugh, Lord Manpower the Temporary, Bogroll, uncroaked, croakamancer, marbit, etc.
I will be more than happy to change some more, but some just don't sound right -- Dwawf, Centauw, Minotauw. Unipegataw?

Heh. Mostly, the "r" thing was just a joke. Though Crovius did have Dwawves in TBfGK...
The Centaurs and Minotaurs though, should probably stay as they are, along with most others. It's really just for flavor.

A/B units don't have many points to work with. Still, they are 66% faster than the Soldiers and Dwarves.SirShadow wrote:For a fast transport... centaurs are rather slow...

Fastest transport would probably be build a lot of canals and use ships.

Re: [SIDE] Narnia
Or build a lot of roads and use Centaurs. (Or for me, Glaceons... Wait, (12*2=24)... A Glaceon on a road is faster than an Articuno or Dwagon!)

Just to nitpick: Centaurs in Narnia will not regard kindly to people riding them

Ranged Dwagons?
also, the battlecrap thing is ridiculously overpowered for 4 points. But hey, against flying units, I guess it balances.

Re: [SIDE] Narnia
I agree that the battlecrap might be overpowered. that's why I gave it to my dwagons. On the other hand, we still have not tested anything this powerful yet. On the third hand, how many dragons can you pop in a game when a level 5 city needs 10 turns to pop one dwagon?
to Reginald: If it seems strange to make dragons have ranged attack, then think of them as airplanes with rockets and bombs.
Edit: I changed my avatar. Perhaps Aslan will show up in the game. A "special" Special D unit.
D: Aslan: 15/12/11/20/heavy, mountain capable, mount, ranged, siege, fast, frightening, leadership, Sonic breath, Upkeep 250.
Aslan is a talking lion, the King of Beasts, son of the Emperor-Over-the-Sea; a wise, compassionate, magical authority (both temporal and spiritual); mysterious and benevolent guide to the Narnian warlords; guardian and saviour of Narnia.

I agree, we're about to find out if it's ridiculously overpowered, or if it actually balances. And having it only on high powered units makes sense too. The ranged does make more sense in terms of bombing. Maybe it has claws that shoot at it's enemies to combat flying units?
